2026 Peony You Pick
***IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING***
Join us for a magical day in our peony fields! For the first time we are opening our peony field to you! This is the perfect opportunity to explore out fields and harvest some of our beautiful flowers to take home and share.
Here are the details:
Before entering the fields, there will be a quick review of the whole process and some tips for harvesting.
No one without a ticket purchased in advance will be allowed entry. One ticket provides admission for two people to the farm and provides bucket with water for your flowers (think mother and daughter or two friends picking to share). Children 12 and under are welcome to attend in addition to an adult without a ticket.
Scissors will not do a good job cutting these flowers and it is recommended you bring garden clippers. If you do not own any, the same professional ARS clippers that we use on a daily basis will be available for purchase for $25 a pair.
Please make sure you dress appropriately for this event. Boots or close toed shoes and pants are recommended. The fields are often wet in the mornings.
Event Time:
10am to 12pm (Fields Close at 1pm)
Event Date:
TBD - Dates will be announced closer to bloom time.
Please note, no camera photography is allowed during this event. If you are interesting in booking a time slot for photography, you can do so at this link. You are welcome to take photos with your cell phones.
Additionally, please keep in mind this is a production farm, not a garden. This means there may be holes, roots, rocks, poison ivy and other potential hazards. We recommend wearing close toed flat shoes as well as long pants. While most of the farm can be accessed by wheel chair, there are areas of uneven ground that might make exploring difficult. This visit is not recommend for those that are not able to walk for at least 1,000 feet. Summer Dreams Farm, LLC is not responsible for any injury that may occur on the farm.
2026 You Picks
***IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING***
Tickets will go on sale one week prior to the date of each You Pick.
Join us for a magical day in our dahlia fields! This is the perfect opportunity to explore out fields and harvest some of our beautiful flowers to take home and share.
Here are the details:
One oversized stadium cup (32 oz) full of flowers is included with the purchase of this ticket, and if you would like more flowers you are able to fill another cup for the same price. There is no limit to the number of flowers you harvest, and you pay by the cup you harvest into. Most people are able to harvest at least 30 - 50 flowers per cup.
No one without a ticket purchased in advance will be allowed entry. One ticket provides admission for two people to the farm and provides one cup with water for your flowers (think mother and daughter or two friends picking to share). Children 12 and under are welcome to attend in addition to an adult without a ticket.
You will be able given a metal bucket similar to the one pictured to harvest into. The metal buckets are for harvesting only. They make for cute photos and are easier to hold onto than the plastic stadium cups. If you would like to purchase one, they are available for purchase separately.
Before entering the fields, there will be a quick review of the whole process and some tips for harvesting.
Scissors will not do a good job cutting these flowers and it is recommended you bring garden clippers. If you do not own any, the same professional ARS clippers that we use on a daily basis will be available for purchase for $25 a pair.

The fields will be the same size as last year and we will have around one acre of flowers to pick from, as opposed to the 3+ acres prior to 2025. This means there will be less tickets available for each event, but still a great selection of flowers for everyone attending. Limited Dahlias will be available at the first two You Picks as they are not quite in bloom yet.
