ARS Flower Clippers
For the last few years, one of the most common questions we receive when we are leading groups through the field is, “What is your favorite clipper?” The next is, “Do you sell them?”
We are excited to now offer the same premium ARS clippers we use on our farm for harvesting flowers, breaking down woody Christmas greens, and splitting dahlia tubers!
These clippers are made of high carbon steel, which is much harder than stainless, and each one stays sharp after cutting 10s of thousands of flowers and dividing hundreds of tuber clumps. The handles are coated with a rubber grip and has a steel core to offer more strength where others will flex when cutting tough material and slip out of your hand. The needle nose design let’s you cut with precision in hard to reach areas dividing tubers.

Bloomquist Jean Dahlia Tubers

Gloriosa Dahlia Tubers
Gloriosa is a unique variety where no two flowers are the exact same, yet each bloom is equally stunning. This medium sized variety ranges in colors between golden yellow to scarlet red with almost painted on streaks of either red or yellow. While the plant stature for this variety is taller, the blooms can sometimes be all red or yellow, some are half and half while others are a magnificent surprise.

Dark Sprit came to us as a mystery tuber that turned out to be one of our most productive varieties on the farm. This gorgeous burgundy ball shaped dahlia is truly unique. White most “burgundy” ball shaped dahlias have a touch of purple or plum in them, Dark Sprit is pure burgundy. It produces many booms on good stems and has smaller, but productive tubers. All dahlia tubers that we offer are grown with care on our farm in Michigan. We do not resell tubers from other growers or import dahlia tubers from abroad. Because of this, when purchasing from Summer Dreams Farm, you can be sure that you will get what you order.
We are proud to share that all of our dahlia plants and tubers are inspected by the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture prior to shipment to assure the quality of the product you receive.
Due to weather and Department of Agriculture requirements, we are unable ship tubers early and our tubers are only available to ship within the United States.
